Invented by Dennis Dean in the mid-'70s, the system was used to win over 120 world motorcycle drag race records.

      It's easy to do.
      No noticeable difference,
and I found it to be a waste of time.

    Production By Color

The following is an attempt to answer the question of how many Valkyries of each color were produced. To go about this, I orted my database by color, then by variant and then armed with the fact that Valkyries were produced in color lots of 20, I counted each serial number that was more than 20 numbers from any adjacent number, and considered such as representing 20 bikes. The red numbers represent situations where I had no serial numbers recorded in that particular category, but

assume that a nominal amount were built. For example, although I don’t have VIN’s for any Black Canadian Standards produced from 2001 to 2003, I assume that at least 20 were produced each production year and therefore at least 60 were built.

As with any of the data contained in this article, if you know different, please feel free to contact me and set the record straight rp62@comcast.net
