1) Loosen the black hose clamp with a phillips screwdriver

2) Loosen the two screws at bottom with a 8mm socket wrench.

3) Disconnect the hoses at one intake at right side and two of the intakes at left side. Keep the manifolds in order so you know which go back where.

4) You can just grab the tube and pull and it'll come right out with little effort. Remember to cover the heads and careful not to leave dust in there.

5) The manifolds are cast aluminum with very rough surface.

6) Step 1, I used a Dremel with small 200 grit sanding drums.

7) Step 2, I used a poolish disk (about the same result as using a 1000 grit sanding drum)

If you remembered to keep the manifolds in order so you know which go back where, you are now ready to assamble it. |
