The first 70 Valkyries
were made on April 11, 1996
and used the first 70 serial
numbers. 69 were black and
chrome and 1 was yellow and
black. (The “bumblebee” was
produced for American
Motorcyclist Magazine’s
Managing Editor, Bill Wood
for use as a long-term loaner.
Mr. Wood followed the bike
along the assembly line and
rode the completed bike off
the premises.) 1
950 Valkyries were
scheduled to be built in the
month of April 1996 1.
3000 Valkyries were to be
built by October 1996.

334 Valkyries were
registered in Germany as of
March 1999.2
64 Valkyries were
registered in Finland as of
October 2004.
About 15 Valkyries
were registered in Italy as of August 2007
286 Valkyries were
registered in Austria as of
August 2004
260 Valkyries were
registered in Sweden as of
June 2007
About 25 Valkyries were
registered in Ireland as of
July 2007
About 60 Valkyries were
